I was just reading a friend's blog. Apparently, she and her family have an annual gag-gift exchange at Christmas time. She was given a tin of Spotted Dick.

Now, I was going to comment on her page, but I know that some people are still good Christians; that is, better Christians than I am. Really, it's not my place to go and mess up someones perfectly good, family approved blog with some inappropriate tongue in cheek. Besides that, we're relatively "new" friends, and we don't really know each other very well. I didn't want to push my luck. So I saved my comment from her blog so that I could write it on my PG-13 blog that I think she'll read.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I know a Captain that got the same thing this year from a flight attendant. It's not something you should re-gift like fruitcake. Especially to your wife.
